RAMARPANAM-11

Part 11
Jai Sri Ram
Apl. 13, 2012

Sri Rama, the invincible Monarch of the world of virtues.

Sri Rama and Sri Anjaneya are as intimate as the syllables "a" and "ma" in the word "aum". They are indispensable as the body to the soul in the sense of the terms, physical body is the sole and exclusive servent of the dweller called Atma.

Ramayana is the true story culminating in the coronation of  Sri Rama as the Great Emperor of  Ayodhya.  But this greatness is in common to many of the Rulers in the 'ikshvAko' dynasty. But what is more unique about Lord Rama  is His coronation to the whole world of virtuous qualities by His conduct. The gist of the attributes have been spelt in the questions posed by sage Valmiki to Narada and His reply to the same.

As the 16 phased moon blossoms on the full moon day, Sri Ramachandra adorns the Crown Empire of "guna sAmrAjyam", by being worthy of  the vast expanse of all the  epithets one can adorn in his life.

The first of the epithets He cherishes is the epitome of the rest in that He conjoins with all, as He did to Guha, a boater; to Sugreeva, an aboriginal ape; to Vibheeshana, kin of  Sita's abductor and an asura. People of ordinary stature admixing with comaraderie is not a great personal ethic. But a person of  high stature of the status of an Emperor mingling with the common is no ordinary quality, which only a few will possess and Rama is the first and the distinguished among them. Thus adored are called "seelavAn" or "gunavAn".

This is the most fitting quality of the Lord of the Vaikunta who  incarnates in human form as Rama or Krishna with a view to put an end to human despondence and help them reclaim the all knowledgeable, all blissful Self and a willing Servant to the Master and Mover of all creations, that is HIM.
