RAMAYANA , the Epic poem, is intertwined with the cultural and spiritual life of India and it's people, gone, now and the awaited.
Sri Rama, it's hero, is a model personality per se for young and the old in their social life as well as spirituality.HE is revered as Maryadha Purushotam as HE stood for the Values in life built on the edifice of Vedic Dharma. In fact HE is glorified as the incarnation of Dharma Itself. HE put to practice the etiquette of high values not only in HIS role as a Ruler as well as those expected of a common man's life.
HE being the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, HE wished to set an example practicing what HE wished to preach in HIS next incarnation as Krishna.
This quality of an ideal Preacher, Preceptor every one should inculcate, especially the parents in their role as tutors to their children.
